Jakarta (ANTARA) – The presence of the Google Lens application has previously helped many people in searching for objects or products.

Most recently, Google Lens provided an update to the Android service version to make it easier to search widely with images from the user’s cellphone gallery.

Quoting 9 to 5 Google, Thursday, this update is a development of a feature that was launched last year when Google Lens allowed users to find products or objects whose images came from screenshots and could be analyzed by Google Lens technology.

Now to use the image search feature based on images in the cellphone gallery, you can check next to the “Screenshot” option there is an option for you to access more image folders on your smartphone.

To start a search, select folders which is the location of the product image or object you want to search for.

After folders It opens on one screen, you can select the image you want to search for by Google Lens image analysis technology.

In addition to updating easier access to the image gallery, Google Lens also changed its search display, which was previously limited to a square shape, now follows the vertical shape of the cellphone screen so that users can have more freedom when searching.

After functioning for the last few years, Google Lens discovered the fact that apparently its users were dominated by the habit of searching for images based on screenshots or other images from its gallery rather than photographing its products directly via the Google Lens application.

For this reason, Google Lens has made several updates and adjustments to make it easier for users to use the application to search for goods or products.

This update to Google Lens is reported to have been widely rolled out on Thursday (10/3).
